Communicating

Power Equipment Sales Company is dedicated to providing our principals and customers the best possible service in a timely, economical manner. To this end we provide state of the art communication technology.

Both our Kansas City and Springfield offices have fax machines that allow written communications to both principals and customers.

We provide to our customers in Missouri and Kansas a toll free watts line to our Kansas City office.

Each person has their own personal computer that they use at Power Equipment as well as for communication with our principals. We maintain databases on our principals and customers that allow prompt updates for our customers on price changes and changes in products we sell. We also have four laptop computers than can be used for field demonstrations. We have the capability to do lighting layouts and other demonstrations. We also use the computers to communicate with principals that have "call up" systems in place to expedite orders, check inventory and even enter purchase orders. Currently we have five principals that utilize this feature. We are a trading partner with EDI and currently receive purchase orders and requests for quotations from customers that have this capability.
